Edmund L. Green — Creating The Future of Business

Edmund is a Managing Director in KPMG LLP’s Risk and Controls Advisory practice with more than 30 years of cross-functional experience, including risk management (operational, financial and technology), treasury operations and internal audit, primarily with Fortune 500 Banking and Financial Services companies.  His main area of focus at KPMG is Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), where he is a member of KPMG’s national ERM leadership team, contributing to the development of the firm’s ERM methodology and related service offerings. In addition, Edmund is a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Villanova University, where he has taught courses on ERM which he personally developed. He has also been a speaker at conferences attended by finance, accounting and risk professionals.

Prior to joining KPMG in 2006, Edmund was a First Vice President in the CFO Risk and Control Division of a consumer credit card bank with assets of $189 Billion, where he led the implementation of SOX §404 for several functional areas including Treasury, Investment and Funding, IT General Computer Controls, Corporate Governance, Vendor Management, and Affinity Compensation.
His previous experience includes nine years in commercial banking specializing in commercial credit and cash management for large corporate and middle market companies in the manufacturing and distribution industries.
Edmund has also served for four years as a Division Treasurer and Director of Treasury Process and Technology for a multi-line Fortune 500 insurance company with assets of $99 Billion. Edmund successfully led the development and implementation of the company’s Treasury BCP/Operational Risk Management program. He also led a treasury strategy review process and created a shared services implementation roadmap for corporate treasury encompassing major business processes, technology and organization structure.
Edmund is currently a key member of the core leadership team for a housing finance GSE with assets of $3.2 trillion where he is responsible for leading relationship development and client service delivery for the full range of KPMG services. He has personally led engagements in the Capital Markets, Multi-family Credit, REO and Mortgage Operations areas. In addition, he regularly designs and delivers ERM solutions for large and mid-sized banks and insurance companies.
