Teri Coaxum is the CEO & Founder of Coaxum Connects LLC a strategic management consulting firm. She’s an economic advisor, distinguished lecturer, motivational speaker, author, life coach & mentor. She is currently the Region II Advocate for the Office of Advocacy, U. S. SBA with oversight of NY, NJ, Puerto Rico & U. S. Virgin Islands. In this capacity, Ms. Coaxum advocates’ for small business; providing a voice & ensuring their concerns with proposed federal regulations are heard & considered.
Prior to that, Ms. Coaxum was the deputy state director for Senator Charles Schumer where she assisted in the management of the senator’s eight regional offices, an advised on economic development, job creation, & key policy issues. Ms. Coaxum’s, ability to “make connections” is one of her strongest professional skills. She made similar meaningful connections during her six years at the Kings County District Attorney’s office where she served as Community Liaison & Project Manager for Community Relations. With presence and power backed by knowledge, skills and compassion, Ms. Coaxum is a much sought-after speaker & presenter at both the professional and self-empowerment levels.
